For example, how does a person with a hearing loss know when the phone or doorbell is ringing? The solution may be simpler than you thought and it's within most people's reach. I'm talking about signalers--also known as signaling systems or alerting devices--which can be used to notify you of everyday sounds, such as the doorbell, the telephone ring, or a baby's cry, by turning on and off lamps in your home or signaling a vibrator to alert you. Some models have a built-in lamp while others may require that you plug one of your own lamps. Often, the light on/off pattern will help you identify which sound is present. Signalers may also be used to indicate the presence of smoke or carbon monoxide as well as for weather alerts or an unexpected home break-in! All these options are available in our online store.
